Hi there, Britney here.
Thank you for stopping by.
For those of you that don’t know me, allow me to introduce myself.
I am the eldest daughter of 2, born and raised in the beautiful and sometimes gritty area of Oceanside, CA. I was fortunate to have a pretty comfortable childhood, complete with the cul-de-sac social atmosphere, paired with pets, a lively family, and public school. It was during my middle school years that I started writing the all-too-familiar cringey poetry and alliterations about how I was misunderstood by my parents, and coming to terms with the tragedy of pre-pubescent crushes and petty quarrels with friends. This was paired with an ever growing ability to talk to anyone that met my gaze for more than 2 seconds. Over time, I came to know myself as a friendly and welcoming person, and would often be sought out for advice on situations – be that with friends, coworkers, family, or even strangers. This, paired with my constant appreciation for the written word, sprinkled with my own lived experiences, has led me to opening this space. I hope that in my words you can find comfort, a laugh, or even a re-examination of your thoughts.
